I am currently in my 15th year of teaching. I began my teaching career in Washington County. From there, I transitioned to Frederick County. I spent 7 years teaching at Walkersville Middle School where I taught FLEX, Spanish I, and Spanish II. I was very excited 5 years ago when I saw that there was an opportunity available at Windsor Knolls Middle School, because I myself was a student at the school when it first opened in 1993! I am looking forward to another excellent year in a wonderful community!
I graduated from Frostburg State University with a double major in Foreign Language and Literature and International Business. My passion and love for the Spanish language and cultures associated with the language led me to teaching. I received my Master in Arts of Teaching from Mount Saint Mary's University. I consider myself a life-long learner, and I am constantly researching the latest trends in education in order to enrich my students' education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and my husband. Although I am not so good at it, I enjoy cooking. I also enjoy reading and traveling!
